EA Sports has launched the mobile version of one of its popular PC and console gaming titles. The latest Android game from Electronic Arts to land in Google Play stores is Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12. This game is available for Android 2.1 and higher version operating systems. This golf game features 8 separate courses (including Pebble Beach, TPC Sawgrass, St. Andrews, TPC Boston, Hazeltine, Doral and Greenbrier) along with 8 golf pros to play with. The golf pros include Tiger Woods, Paula Creamer, Anthony Kim, Natalie Gulbis, Jim Furyk, Zach Johnson, Paul Casey and Camilo Villegas. There is also an option to customize a player with an array of shirts, hats, gloves and shoes, so that the player can create himself/herself as an avatar. This game features 4 game modes. Players may also challenge their friends in one-on-one matches over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi and compete for the top spot on the leader board in tour mode. Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 12 offers a nice test of the touch based controls for driving and putting. Players will play real PGA courses like Doral and Pebble Beach in tour mode. A Tiger Challenge is set of mini-games that tests (and builds) skills is also available. The PGA TOUR 12 is a paid version that costs 4.99 US Dollars (approx. 3.56 pounds). A note at the bottom warns that the game may not work on rooted devices. Some people with rooted devices have installed and it works fine. However, most people with 720p displays are unable to play it. There are reports from Galaxy Nexus, LTEVO and One X users that they are unable to play the game because of an error about resolution. They are also not getting a refund. Video of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12 Gameplay from youtube: |
