New Kinect-supported videogame named Blackwater will be coming soon on Xbox 360 platform. The subject of a Blackwater game is based on the real-life mercenary team, Blackwater Worldwide that has been related to the killing of non-combatants and civilians in Iraq during U.S. operations there. 505 Games, the Los Angeles-based interactive entertainment company is the publisher of the game. To make sure accuracy of moves, gameplay and gestures, the game was produced by Pantierra in cooperation with former members of the Blackwater team and with the confidential security contractor’s founder, Navy SEAL Erik Prince.

Blackwater is a cinematic shooter experience that you have never played before. Guide a team of Blackwater Operators defending a fictional North African town, fighting dangerous warlords and battling back two divergent militia forces. Players can do everything by the use of the motion-sensing Kinect; from moving their character to aiming and sacking a weapon as you work your way by pressure-filled missions.

Blackwater game will provide players the capability to wholly control the gameplay experience by means of a traditional controller or Kinect for Xbox 360’s controller-free capacities which launches an unprecedented level of captivation to the FPS genre. Blackwater also features a range of officially-licensed weapons for your soldier to select from. An immersive First Person eXperience (FPX), Blackwater is scheduled to be released in this fall 2011. The game is developed by Zombie Studios under a trademark license agreement. However, this game’s The Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) rating is pending.
