Angry Birds Star Wars: Releases on Monday, Picture Emerged

Rovio, the developer of Angry Birds released an image, depicting a lightsaber-wielding bird on Tumblr. The game is officially named as Angry Birds Star Wars where the iconic birds will be replaced by the Star Wars characters. It is anticipated that Angry Birds Star Wars will be released on Monday, 8th October at the Times Square Toys ‘R Us in New York at 10 a.m. EST. As per the reports, Rovio has already released Angry Birds products like apparel, toys and food items.

Rovio has managed to attract a lot of users with its Angry Birds versions such as Angry Birds Space and Angry Birds Rio. The characters of Angry Birds like the Red Bird, Big Brother Bird and Yellow Bird will be playing the role of Luke Skywalker, Chewbacca and Han Solo respectively in Angry Birds Star Wars. The game will feature a Death Star which appears to be built in the shape of a Pig.
