Amazing Alex: Review of Rovios new Game for Android & iOS

The Game developer, Rovio who conquered the world with Angry Birds has come up with a new game known as Amazing Alex. It is the first new game of Rovio after Angry Birds game (2009). The successor of Angry Birds is physics-based puzzle game and is available on both platforms: iOS and Android. You can get this game in free and paid versions from Android Play Store and Apple App Store. Free version is only available at Android Play Store. At Android Play Store, there are three varieties of the game: a free Trial, a Premium version (Rs 55.28) and HD version (Rs 166.94) while at Apple App Store, you will get two varieties of the game: iPhone version ($0.99) and iPad friendly HD version ($2.99). The company will also launch Amazing Alex for PCs, Macs and Windows Phone devices later.

Amazing Alex is an updated version of Casey's Contraptions with new content and improved graphics. It features 100 levels that allow you to create complex chain reactions to complete the tasks ranging from cleaning the room to fighting cardboard robots in the backyard. The levels are divided into four groups such as Alex’s bedroom, classroom, tree house and backyard. The game also lets you to create your own custom levels using more than 35 interactive objects and submit it. You can even share your own custom levels with others.

You will also find fan-created puzzles under downloaded levels section. The game uses stars system rather than points system. All the levels have 3 Stars. When you finish the task, you will see a small bar that shows your star ranking and performance. In the beginning of the game, the levels will be simple and as you go through the game, the levels become more baffling.
