ABS-CBN bagged the first win of a Filipino show in the Seoul International Drama Awards 2009 with Eva Fonda.
The primetime drama series aired last year won the Special Prize in the 2009 Seoul International Drama Awards. The first ever award won by the Philippines in the 4-year-old award giving body for drama series around the world.
Cristine Reyes, who was also nominated in the Best Actress category for her portrayal as Eva Fonda failed to win but she was present in the awards night to accept the award for the show.
