Cory Aquino Funeral Arrangement
As you know that former President of Philippines “Corazon Aquino” died from cardiac arrest at the age of 76 on Saturday, 1st August, 2009. Now the preparation of Cory Aquino Funeral Arrangement will be starting.
Corazon Aquino will be buried on Wednesday August 5th 2009 at Manila Memorial Park. Because of her Burial a non working holiday has been declared in the Philippines. President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo will arrive in the funeral of Corazon Aquino. President Arroyo also declared a 10-day period of national mourning from August 1-10 on the death of Cory Aquino through the said Proclamation No. 1850.
From 1986 to 1992, Mrs Aquino was President of the Philippines and she will be remembered as "Championed of democracy" because she was the woman who deposed the dictator Marcos in 1986.
Cory Aquino family just wished not to accept the offer of the government for a state funeral for their own private reasons. For public viewing this will be started from 7 a.m. up to 4 a.m. only on the Wednesday, 5th August, 2009.
