Today Morning near 8 a.m. a sophomore history class was in session in Hillsdale High School, and a bomb explosion around it. According to some sources the bomb went off inside a classroom. Hillsdale High School has some 1,200 students. Luckily the Hillsdale High School bomb left no one hurt.
The AP is reporting that San Mateo police Lt. Mike Brunicardi said officers received several calls just after 8 a.m. Monday from teachers and staff reporting some kind of explosion at
Hillsdale High School.
He added that students evacuated immediately to a nearby middle school.
It’s being claimed that a pipe bomb was the cause of the blast and a bomb squad is searching the school for any other explosive devices.
Hillsdale High School has 1,200 students and is starting its second week of classes for this new school year.
The school was immediately evacuated and emergency crews and bomb squad units spent the day searching for other explosives, but so far have not found any.
