Billy Mays autopsy result : Cocaine Found in Billy Mays Dead Body
Billy Mays was an American television direct-response advertisement salesperson. He was most notable for promoting OxiClean, Orange Glo, and other cleaning, home-based, and maintenance products. He died on June 28, 2009. Billy Mays autopsy results have shown that cocaine was the factor of his death.
The official cause of death was heart attack. Dr Leszek informed that Mays had a pattern of heart problems in his family but the medical examiner noted that "cocaine use" as a contributing reason in his death. He was also using hydrocodone, oxycodone and tramadol by prescription for hip pain. He was preparing to have his third hip surgery in 18 months and took medication for the chronic pain.
County officials told that Cocaine can raise the arterial blood pressure, directly cause thickening of the wall of the left ventricle of the heart, and accelerate the formation of atherosclerosis in the coronary arteries. Mays was not under the influence by any of the drugs when he died in the sleep at his home in Florida. More information about Billy Mays autopsy report.
