The Big Four: Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, Anthrax invaded movie theaters all over the world on Tuesday night. Celebrating the biggest metal tour of the century, The Big Four concert was beamed from the Sonisphere Festival into theaters across the US and the UK. The Big Four not only delivered one of the best live shows in years, it produced the movie experience of a lifetime.
The movie theater was about half full for the show. It was an interesting mix of people for sure. There was a much younger crowd than I anticipated. Of course you had the “Heavy Metal Parking Lot” alumni in the house. It looked like date night for some couples.
