The Breaking News is that the Comedian and Radio personality Artie Lange was arrested for DUI (Driving Under the Influence of an Intoxicant) in Toms River, New Jersey on 10th July at 3:00 pm.
Artie Lange was arrested after being involved in a minor car accident in center NJ on early Friday afternoon around 1:30 pm. After he was said to be doing well and back on the carriage, it seems he’s had a slip-up and was arrested.
Police said that his run-ins with the law and matter misuse are nothing new, we are hopeful Artie Lange could twist his life around this time. He was taken to police headquarters for processing. Lange was issued summonses and released pending a municipal court appearance on Thursday July 16, 2009.
Artie Lange is a “Howard Stern Show” cast member. The show is currently on hiatus and is set to return to Sirius XM on Monday, July 13, 2009. He was an original member of the "MADtv" cast, and has appeared in films such as "Old School" and "Beer League."
