Apollo Moon Landing Hoax

Forty years ago on July 20, 1969, one of two world-changing events in human history occurred:

1. Apollo 11 astronaut Neil Armstrong became the first man to walk on the moon, or

2. Apollo 11 astronaut Neil Armstrong participated in a massive hoax designed to convince the public that men had actually landed and walked on the moon — when in fact they hadn’t.

Folks who subscribe to the second scenario are known as moon landing conspiracy theorists. They’re convinced that the moonwalk watched by millions of people on live television was staged at some secret location here on earth. Believe it or not, there are more people convinced of that today than there were 40 years ago when the “hoax” was supposedly perpetrated.

Being conspiracy theorists, they will never be convinced otherwise. And, being conspiracy theorists, they fervently hope to convince you and me that their topsy-turvy version of reality is correct.
