im 15 years old and i grew up in the streets with fsu and i know one thing for sure, if it wasnt for them ide be dead, my best friend died gettin jumped and i was there and if think your a pussy to not fight 1 on 1 then you never been there becuase even if you could fight alone it doesnt meen the other gangs will. no matter many guys you got someones always got more.

I was reading up on FSU because I am watching something about it on the History Channel and am curious. Some of you posters have admitted to being members so maybe you can explain some things to me. The whole concept seems like a total contradiction, so what is the idea that binds you together? Originally it seemed that Elgin guy may have had some sort of philosophy or something to go by (not that I agree with it) but at least he seemed to have a path. Based on the posts above it seems like now it's become about calling people faggots and threatening to kicking each other's heads in. Sounds just like the moronic skinheads, gang bangers, and every other band of dumb lost souls you kind find walking the streets in mindless herds. And to the posters who are making fun FSU for being pussies and the like, I just have to say that you make me sad in general. If any of this was ever about music or the "hardcore" scene then you've all missed the point entirely. If it's about righting wrongs and protecting each other, you've gone horribly astray and if it's about group fighting, well that's just stupid.
