49-port USB hub from Cambrionix

I must admit that the 49-port USB 2.0 hub from Cambrionix is of no use to me, but that doesn’t mean nerds will have a similar opinion. Available for $657, it uses an ATX-2 supply to power all 49 ports. It’s pretty evident that you will not run out off ports for your gadgets. The intended uses for this hub range from the esoteric to the boring: product testing, ad-hoc mega-NASes and group disk manipulation all make the list, while 49-strong Humping Dog orgies somehow don't.
