Several people who turned up today to collect their refund for the Akon concert which was scheduled to be held in Colombo but was later cancelled, were in for a rude shock when the organizers failed to turn up at a Colombo hotel to return the money. The official event organizers for Supafest 2010, Platinum Entertainment (Pvt) Limited were to refund concert tickets to people at the Cinnamon Grand hotel today. The event organizers however were not present and people who purchased tickets had arrived at the hotel to ensure that their tickets were refunded. A certain individual had been informed by Platinum Entertainment to be present at the hotel at 9.00am to get her ticket refunded. She had arrived at the hotel by 9.00am and stayed until 2.00pm to realize that the event organizers would not be present at the hotel. |
