61st Primetime Emmy Awards now on September 13, 2009 instead of September 20

Primetime Emmy Awards is an international Awards function and it will be aired on September 13, 2009 instead of September 20. This year CBS has change awards programme, so that Primetime Emmy Award will be moving on the 61st event from September 13 to September 20.

The progress means that the Emmy Awards will not air the night before drop 2009. The announcement of nominations will be scheduled on July 16 at 5:40 a.m.

"This is superior for the live event, the broadcast and our spectators at home,” The telecast will be aired on Sunday September 13, 2009, it will be one week earlier than previously scheduled which was canceled due to the NFL season.”

The reason of rescheduled was based on CBS' fear of forcing a delay telecast of Emmy. The system plans to air NFL doubleheader in the afternoon, and it refuses to put on a risk in enclose it stretches beyond 8 p.m.
