2010 Acura MDX Reviews, Photos and Prices

Acura MDX was first launched with its luxury crossover in 2001 and redesigned in 2007 with its new two-tiered, mesh-like “shield” of a front grille. TSX, TL, RL and RDX like features are included in each model. With these feature it would soon become the inspiration for Acura’s new corporate face. But in 2010 Acura MDX car a solid, silver V-shaped crest is placed with the original shield. With the new grille, the still-spectacular headlights do not seem to line up properly. Perhaps the proportions would look more streamlined, if the silver V floated in the middle of the grille is put instead of at the top. In Acura MDX, a definite improvement is new lower vents aped from the new TL.

A six-speed automatic transmission with a manual mode and shift paddles on the steering wheel are accompanied to the 3.7-liter V-6 engine. According to early estimates, for 300 hp, it is still good, but mileage goes from 15/20 mpg city/highway to 16/21 mpg. With new leather seating surfaces, standard all-wheel drive, a slightly larger steering wheel and other updated materials, the interior is mostly the same. However, the layout remains basically unchanged.

There is now an Advanced Package in present that includes the Technology Package plus performance equipment like 19-inch wheels and a new adaptable suspension system, as well as additional creature comforts, like heated and ventilated seats instead of a Sport Package topping the lineup. The roof of MDX can support three times the vehicle’s weight instead of the mandated 1.5 times, according to Acura.
