2009 Celebrity Softball Game Participants

Former LSU softball All-American Trena Peel of the National Pro Fastpitch League’s Philadelphia Force is scheduled to play in Major League Baseball’s Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game as part of the festivities for the All-Star Game in St. Louis.

Peel, a 2002 NFCA Second Team All-American with the Tigers, joins fellow NPF players Kristen Butler, Samantha Findlay and Megan Gibson, who will compete in the game Sunday at Busch Stadium with former baseball legends and celebrities.

The contest is slated to air Monday at 9 p.m. on ESPN after the State Farm Home Run Derby.
