The Institute’s main emphasis is on Materials Science,Metallurgical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Processing Technology, Environmental Science & Engineering and Computational Materials Engineering, Pure and Applied Sciences.
Eligibility: For Post Doctoral Fellow, a Ph.D degree is mandatory. For Ph.D, the candidates should have Master Degree in appropriate branch of engineering with minimum CGPA of 6.5 or 60 % from a recognized institute/ university. First class Master Degree in basic and applied sciences will also be considered. A valid GATE/NET score is necessary for scholarship for candidates without an M.Tech. Degree.
