Updates on 6th pay commission tamilnadu. Chennai, May 31 The Tamil Nadu Government has announced wage revision for its employees and pensioners in line with the recommendations of the Sixth Pay Commission.

The revised pay scales, effectively a hike of about 25 per cent and a doubling of allowances will benefit
over 12 lakh State Government employees and over 6 lakh pensioners and family pensioners.

The sixth pay revision will be effective notionally from January 1, 2006, with the monetary benefit accruing from January 1, 2007, according to the Finance Secretary, Mr K. Gnanadesikan.
This will mean an arrear payout of Rs 11,093 crore to be paid in three equal annual instalments beginning from the current year. The revised pay-scales, effectively a hike of about 25 per cent and a doubling of allowances,

In line with the recommendations of the committee constituted to implement the Sixth Pay Commission, the existing pay scales will be revised based on the Central Government pay scales on “pay scale to pay scale” basis.

Highlights of 6th pay commission tamilnadu

  1. The annual increment is maintained at the rate of 3 per cent of Pay + Grade Pay as in Government of India
  2. Dearness Allowance will be sanctioned at the same rates and on the same date in the revised Pay Structure as sanctioned by Government of India;
  3. The existing slab rates of HRA and CCA will be doubled;
  4. daily allowance has been doubled.
  5. the minimum of the Pension/Family Pension will be raised from Rs 1,913 to Rs 3,050 a month with reference to the revision of the Pay + Grade Pay in the revised Pay Structure;

NOT MORE THAN 15%WAGE HIKE FOR BANK STAFF-A SHAMEA

IT IS REALLY DISGUSTING TO NOTE THAT CENTRAL GOVT.WHICH IS DOLING OUT IN LACS OF CRORES IN THE NAME OF STIMULOUS TO ECONOMY OR AAM ADMI WELFARE MEASURES IS SO SPENDTHRIFT WHEN IT COMES TO PAY HIKE FOR BANK STAFF. THE STRANGE ARE THE WAYS OF THIS GOVT.THAT IT GIVES 30 TO 40%HIKES TO ITS STAFF AND DOUBLING TREBLING OF SALARY TO PSU EMPLOYEES, WHAT THE SIN BANK STAFF HAVE COMMITTED THAT THEY ARE NOT BEING OFFERRED EVEN LESS THAN 50% OF THAT. THIS GOVT.SHOULD KEEP IN MIND THAT ALL THE WELFARE SCHEMES VIZ.AGRI LOAN WAIVERS WORTH RS.71000/ CRORES,INTEREST SUBVENSION FOR AGRI/EXPORT SECTOR,CHEAPER LOANS FOR SME/HOUSING SECTOR, WHAT NOT ALL ARE BEING IMPLEMENTATED ONLY AND ONLY THROUGH BANK STAFF. BUT IT IS SHAMEFUL THAT THE VERY PERSONS WHO ARE WORKING DAY AND NIGHT IN BANKS ARE OFFERRED SO MEASILY. TODAY THE FATE OF BANK MANAGER IS POOR THAN A STAFF NURSE OR A PRIMARY TEACHER. IT IS REALLY PITY ON THE PART OF MANMOHAN SINGH CONGRESS GOVT.THAT THE REAL HEROES OF THIS COUNTRY'S ECONOMY ARE BEING TREATED SO BADLY. TODAY WHEN WORLD OVER THE BANKING SECTORS HAVE COLLAPSED, THIS GOVT IS TAKING ALL UNDUE CREDIT FOR SURVIVOL OF BANKS. BUT HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT WHO ARE BEHIND THIS HAPPENING. IT IS ONLY AND ONLY WE HARDWORKING,SINCERE AND HONEST BANK EMPLOYEES. IF THIS GOVT REALLY WANTS THIS TO CONTINUE, IT SHOULD GIVE WHAT EVER IS REALLY DUE TO BANK EMPLOYEES. WORKERS SHOULD BE REWARDED AND NOT PUNISHED. THINK OVER CENTRAL GOVT.THIS IS A FEELING OF WE ONE MILLION BANK EMPLOYEES.
