Hippies don’t obey the rules of the society and promote a liberal attitude and lifestyle. Hippies were originated at States in the mid-1960 and spread to all over the world. Usually, Hippies are fond of tress, wearing casual dress like bellbottom, smoking, drugs and other addictions. Their world is totally different. The birth of the hippie movement started due to the important events that changed their lives, their resulting frustration with society, and the philosophy that developed from their spiritual maturation. All suppressive hierarchical power structures are being opposed by hippies since these are unfavorable to the hippie goals of freedom, peace and love.

Hippies accept people as they are, giving them freedom to express themselves and not judging them based on appearances. They never care about the rest of the society. They need freedom, right to express their feelings and live in their own ways. They even pray to God in their own distinguished way. In olden days, they were not accepted by the rest of the world.
