Lessons Learned in 2009

I learned a lot in 2009 but here are the main things that stood out for me this year.

Traveling around the country is a true learning experience. Seeing places that I have read about is really different when you see them in person. Cultures and places have new meaning. When I read a book and it is set somewhere that I have been, I am able to feel more for the characters in the book. In 2010, I plan to continue to experience the world.
