Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (JCECE) Board invites application in the agreed forms from qualified candidates for appearing in the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination- 2009 (JCECE- 2009) for admission in to the First Year of Engineering, Medical and Agricultural degree programs in different government and private institutes or colleges in Jharkhand.

JCECE Board is conducted JCECE, for admission into the First Year of the following Degree Courses :–

Engineering Stream: Engineering Degree Course in different Govt./Pvt. Engineering Institutes/Colleges situated in Jharkhand State.

Medical Stream: MBBS & BDS/Homeopathic Course in Govt. and Pvt. Institutes situated in Jharkhand State.

Agriculture Stream :  Degree Course in Agriculture, Veterinary and Forestry in Birsa Agriculture University, Kanke, Ranchi.

The JCECE entrance test is held in two stages, begining and final examination. The entrance test paper contains of objective type multiple choice questions. It consists of single paper, which is separated into four parts Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. All parts carry equal weightage. Based on the marks got by the candidates in the preliminary examination, a separate list of the engineering and medical candidates is prepared after assessment. Candidates who successfully qualify the preliminary examination are qualified to appear in the final examination.

The final examination is held in a different date. The candidates appear for the combination of subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Candidates aspiring for the medical field appear for a combination of subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology. There is also the system of negative marking for wrong answers efforted by a candidate.

 JCECE will be held on May 19, 2009 and the last date of receiving of filled up application form is  April 2, 20009 at 05.00 PM through speed post or registered post directly to the following address.
