Indian Air Force (IFA) has issued notification to invite Indian citizens for recruitment of Group C various posts including LDC, MTD (OG), cook, draughtman, carpenter and painter. Indian citizens are invited for Indian Air Force Recruitment 2010. 

Indian Air Force Recruitment 2010:

LDC:

• No. of Posts: 02
• Age Limit: 18 to 27 years
• Scale of Pay: PB 1 Rs. 5200-20200 (Grade Pay Rs. 1900)
• Required Qualification:
  • 12th Pass or equivalent
  • Must possess a speed of 35 w.p.m. in English typing and 30 w.p.m. in Hindi typing on Computer

MTD (OG):

• No. of Posts: 02
• Scale of Pay: PB 1 Rs. 5200-20200 (Grade Pay Rs. 1900)
• Age Limit: 18 to 25 years
• Required Qualification:
  • Matric pass or equivalent.
  • Must be holding a valid Civil Driving License for light and heavy vehicle
  • Must possess professional skill in driving and knowledge of motor mechanism
  • Minimum two years experience in driving motor vehicles.

Cook:

• No. of Posts: 15
• Scale of Pay: PB 1 Rs. 5200-20200 (Grade Pay Rs. 1900)
• Age Limit: 18 to 25 years
• Required Qualification:
  • Matric pass or equivalent with six months experience in trade or ex-servicemen in similar trade/akin/field or trade

Draughtman:

• No. of Posts: 01
• Scale of Pay: PB-1 with Grade Pay of Rs.2400/-
• Age Limit: 18 to 25 years
• Required Qualification:
  • Matric pass or equivalent
  • Certificate of Industrial Institute Institute Certificate in the appropriate trade

Painter:

• No. of Posts: 01
• Scale of Pay: PB-1 with Grade Pay of Rs.1900/-
• Age Limit: 18 to 25 years
• Required Qualification:
  • Matric pass or equivalent
  • Industrial Training Institute Certificate in the appropriate/akin field or ex-serviceman in the appropriate trade

Carpenter:

• No. of Posts: 01
• Scale of Pay: PB-1 with Grade Pay of Rs.1900/-
• Age Limit: 18 to 25 years
• Required Qualification:
  • Matric pass or equivalent
  • Certificate of Industrial Training Institute Certificate in the appropriate trade

Last date of application form: 11th December 2010

Written & interview date: 27th December 2010

How to apply:

The candidates who eligible for the required qualification can apply through application format that given in the recruitment notification. According to the application format, application forms are required in properly typed on A-4 size paper format along with the required documents including passport size photograph on application that attested by Gazetted officer duly pasted on application form, attested copy of date of birth certificate or matriculation certificate or school leaving certificate of OBC, SC, ST issued by a competent authority, true copy of employment exchange registration card, copy of experience certificate, character certificate issued by gazette officer or principal of the school/collage or village pradhan.

After completing the application, send it in self addressed envelope of size 23 cm x 10 cm bearing Rs. 25/- postage stamp to the air officer commanding/station commander/ commanding officer of the place of vacancy at unit address that available in notification. The application must reach at addressee in 21 days of advertisement.

Written examination & interview:

The written examination/ interview will be taken place on 27 December 2010. Only correctly and completely applications are eligible for the written examination & interview. So the eligible candidates will be informed for the examination by registered post. During the examination and interview, candidates keep their original certificates including Admit Card on hand.
