IGNOU launches certificate course in water harvesting and management

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has launched a new certificate programme in Water Harvesting and Management to impart necessary skill among student to understand the water harvesting techniques.

The certificate programme also aims to make people aware about the water resources.

The 60 regional centres of the university will serve as special centres for this programme.

"Certificate programme will not be conducted by the university professors. Centre incharge of the course will run the course," said Prof. V.N. Rajasekharan Pillai, Vice-Chancellor IGNOU.

The university has asked its regional directors to fill the vacant post of program eincharge.
