Gujarat Gaun Seva Pasandgi Mandal is working on a police recruitment. It is responsible for such recruitment. In 2008 Gujarat Gaun seva Pasandgi Mandal took entrance exam for a recruitment of Sahayak Clerk. Gujarat Gaun Seva Pasandgi Mandal has declared Result of Sahayak Clerk exam.
Main Grouse SSSB ( subordinate service selection board) lodged against Gandhi Nagar, better known as "Gujarat Gaun Seva Mandal Pasandgi" is actually chaired a political designated person, obviously loyal to the ruling regmine, also it is facing serious allegations of corruption. Of the turnover of recruitment to the police, probably right up to the sub-inspector level will be carried by SSSB a body headed by a political agreement with Gujarat Government. Now the police are 6500 Constable of which 3000 are expected to be finished "lok rakshaks" or raksha sahayaks for half the salary of the Constable in the 5 years after they are likely to be absorbed.
