The pharmacy technician career is growing rapidly, partially due to all of the businesses that employ them. Follow these steps to find pharmacy technician jobs.

Write a strong resume.

Apply at drug stores.

Drug stores are the most obvious places that hire pharmacy techs. Create a strong resume noting your pharm tech certificate and apply to all of the drug stores in your area.

Look for pharmacy technician jobs at large department and general stores.

Places like Fred Meyer, Safeway, and Costco all have pharmacies in their buildings. Apply to these jobs too; the more places you apply, the faster you will find work.

Ask local doctors offices if their pharmacies are hiring.

These offices within doctor's offices also have a strong need for pharmacy technicians. Talk to the office manager to see if there are any job opportunities in that caliber.
