Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh is organizing Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) 2010, Andhra Pradesh. On behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education, the University conducts EAMCET examination and prepares the merit list of candidates for admission into professional and technical colleges in Andhra Pradesh. The tough competition in large number of students across the state of Andhra Pradesh appears for EAMCET every year. The information of EAMCET 2010 Exam and Syllabus is given below.

Eligibility Criteria for EAMCET:
For engineering & Pharmacy courses, a candidate should have passed class 12th exams with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and candidates should be at least 16 years of age on 31st December, 2010. For other courses candidates should be between 17-25 years of age on 31st December, 2010. EAMCET is open for the candidates belonging to Andhra Pradesh only.
How to apply for EAMCET:
The submission of form can be filled up online; a candidate has to purchase a demand draft for Rs. 250/- in favor of secretary, Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) payable at Hyderabad. Then the candidate has to take the filled application’s print and has to paste the colored 3.5cmx4.5 cm size photo at appropriate place in the application.Candidates can also apply for EAMCET offline. Printed forms will be available at designated centers as mentioned in notification.
Syllabus of Examination:
Multiple Choice Questions from Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics will be consisted in the entrance test. There will be four options to each question. The syllabus is designed at the level of intermediate course and equivalent to 10+2 scheme of examination which is conducted by Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh.

Important Dates of EAMCET 2010:
- Availability of Application Form: Mid February-March End, 2010
- Last Date of Submission of completed application form: March 3rd week, 2010
- Date of EAMCET Examination: Mid May, 2010
- Last date for submision of application with LATE Fee of Rs. 500/- (at Convener’s Office, Hyderabad only)
- Last date for submision of application with LATE Fee of Rs. 1000/- (at Convener’s Office, Hyderabad only)
