Notification for Recruitment of Teachers 2008-2009

The Government of AP (Andhra Pradesh) has announced the Schedule for the Conduct of DNS (District Selection Committee) 2008 for recruitment of 52,655 Teachers in May 2009.

The Total Posts, there would be, 30,558 secondary grade teachers, 12,252 school assistants, 7,018 language pundits, 2,789 PET’s and 30 particular teachers required by schools run for the visually-challenged and the hearing and speech-impaired.

Region wise Recruitment : Coastal Andhra  20,858 Posts, Rayalaseema 11,041 Posts around,  Telangana 20,756 Posts. The teachers being recruited, 50,063 would be posted in schools run with the School Education Section and the rest in municipal and tribal schools.

Notification for recruitment would be issued with the School Education Department on Sunday and district Collectors would issue notifications for existing vacancies being filled by DSC-2008.
