Danger Texting While Driving Accidents Video

Generally we feel guilt of texting not on right time but after incident. Texting is not the meaning of just messaging but in tweeting, or updating our Facebook, while behind the wheel of a car. Most of people can not understand the result of what could happen while they taking their eye off on the road for just a moment.

Recently, the Gwent Police Department has created a public service announcement in Wales designed to stop teens from doing it is quickly becoming an Internet hit, garnering thousands of views on Youtube. According to U.S. adults’ texting is distracting, risky and should be barred. The video shows that the driver of the car was doing text messages and a group of teens getting into a head-on accident because of some strong reaction of graphic nature.

Texting is dangerous while driving, according to some surveys,

  • A recent Virginia Tech study reports that texting drivers are 23 times more likely to be concerned in an accident than nontexters
  • According to AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety reports, 95 percent of drivers surveyed accept texting while driving is dangerous and 21 percent of them have done it recently.
  • In U.S, up to a quarter of the expected 40,000 vehicle losses annually due to distracted drivers’ texting.
