The head office of the board is located in Allahabad. A secretary has been appointed to overlook the functions of the board. The UP board adopted the 10+2 examination system. After ten years, students sit for the High school examination which is followed by Intermediate examination after two years.
Results were announced on 27th May 2010 at 12.00 Noon and have been published Online. Result have been uploaded on the official websites of UP Board and on other website.
