Birla Institute of Technology and Science Aptitude Test (BITSAT) is a computer-based online entrance test to getting admission into one of the campuses of the prestigious. Admissions to all the Integrated First Degree programmes of BITS, Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad for the year 2009.

BITS admission test is a 3 hour long computer online test centers. The test has objective type 150 questions and all the questions will be in English only. BITS exam provides the platform for BITS aspirants to get the required practice. Around 1,50,000 students are expected to attempt BITSAT-2009 exam and this test conduct at 18 centers in India.

BITSAT-2009 Test Format:

BITSAT-2009 will be of total 3-hour duration, No marks are awarded for not attempted questions. There will be 150 questions in all.

Important Dates:

• The Last Date for Applying for BITSAT-2009 : 31st January 2009.
• BITSAT Online tests: 9th May to 12th June 2009
• Admit List and Wait List announcement : 1st July 2009
• Test center allotment and announcement to candidates : 15th February 2009
• Candidates to reserve Test dates : 18th Feb to 10th March 2009

Application Form:

BITS, Pilani is an Institution declared as Deemed to be University under Section 3 of the UGC Act. Admissions to all the Integrated First Degree programmes of BITS, Pilani at Pilani campus, Goa Campus and Hyderabad Campus, for the academic year 2009-10 will be made on the basis of a Computer based Online Test called ‘BITS Admission Test-2009’, in short as BITSAT-2009.

The printout of the filled form alongwith the prescribed fees of Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 500/- for female candidates) should be sent to Admissions officer, BITS, Pilani-333031. Details for payment of fees are available at the website while applying online.
