Annamalai University is one of the largest universities in India today, now known as Distance Education - DDE programs. The University was founded in 1928 by Dr. Raja Sir annamalai Chettiar of Chettinad. He was a great visionary and philanthropist with a great desire for the development of education in the country.The Annamalai university is at an advanced stage began in 1929 with only seven departments in the past 75 years to develop into a strong institution with nearly 48 offices, in all branches have a 9 faculties. This is one of the few institutions in India with all faculties same understanding block. |
