The Work and Holiday Visa is what you need to work legally in Australia so you can earn the money you need to travel around for up to 12 months!

You can leave and return to Australia as often as you want, but just remember that the timer doesn't stop on your visa just because you're not in Australia. You have 12 months from date of entry. No time will be added on to make up for time spent traveling outside of the country.

The Australian Work and Holiday Visa also lets you:

* enter Australia at any time within 12 months of the visa grant date
* leave and re-enter Australia any number of times during the 12 months from the date of first entry
* work for up to 6 months
* study for up to 4 months

You'll make: Hourly earnings start in the mid-teens but there's plenty of opportunity to earn more than that!

Qualifications:
* Between ages of 18 and 30 (inclusive)
* Outside of Australia when you apply for and are granted the visa
* Proof you graduated from high school
* Have a round-trip ticket or enough money to buy your plane ticket home as well as enough money to get you started in Australia, generally USD 4,000
* Meet health and character requirements.
