Washington Knew AIG Was Preparing to Pay Bonuses

The Obama administration and members of Congress have known that the insurance giant AIG would be willing to pay huge bonuses while living off the government bailouts. It was not until the money was flowing and the news was trickling out to the public that the official Washington rose in anger and swore American money. Barack Obama's team paid $ 30 billion in extra aid to the company So far.

The administration has been unable to continue its activities for Obama's tough rhetoric on executive compensation. And the Congress is unable or unwilling to reduce bonuses for salvation recipients despite some lawmakers repeated attempts to do so.
