Singer Chitra Singh's daughter Monica Chowdhri Found Dead
Most sad news is that Monica Chowdhri was dead. Monica Chowdhri the daughter of Famous Ghazal singer Chitra Singh supposedly dedicated suicide at her residence in suburban Bandra. Acording to police, Monica Choudhary’s body was found hanging from a ceiling fan at her suburban home Friday afternoon. Chowdhary's body was found by her son and body has been sent for medical check up to the Bhabha hospital.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone IX) Niket Kaushik told, as per our preliminary investigations, she had a troubled life and was in a state of depression.” And there no suicide note was found with her body. Monica was Chitra’s daughter from her former marriage earlier than she married famous ghazal singer Jagjit Singh.
N. Kaushik said ,in the morning Chitra Singh woke up her daughter by knocked the door, got no response, tried calling her on the cellphone but no response then entered the room through the bathroom and found her hanging from the fan. Monica was 40 year old and M got married in 2005 but was later divorced and a few years later married a Briton Mark Atkins, who worked in a MNC.
