First lady home minister of AP is Sabita Reddy
Recently Y S Rajasekhara Reddy a chief minister of Andhra Pradesh has been announced name of his sister Sabita Reddy of 46 as the home minister of the state. Sabita Reddy will be the first woman who holds the post as home minister of Andhra Pradesh. On Monday evening 35 ministers of cabinet were took oath in the ceremony which was organized at Raj Bhavan. She was the Minister for Mines and Geology in the earlier Cabinet. Ms. Sabita Reddy's late husband Indra Reddy also was a Home Minister in the N.T. Rama Rao Cabinet in 1994-95. Rajasekhare Reddy was forming the new cabinet in which four senior ministers dropped by him and where Sabita replaced senior minister K. Jana Reddy.For more information click here |
