Reed Raymond Prior, of Des Moines, Iowa, was the sole recipient of a commutation. Convicted of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, he was sentenced in 1996 to life in prison with 10 years of supervised release. His prison sentence is now set to expire on Feb. 23, 2009, but the terms of the commutation leave intact the 10 years of supervised release with all its conditions.
Reed Raymond Prior, was ordered released from prison in February 2009. He will have served more than 12 years. Reed also has two film productions to his credit, first as Co-Producer of 2001 Walt Disney Pictures - feature film "Max Keeble's Big Move," and then as Producer of Coastal Entertainment - 2001 Pilot "Beyond Coastal Doors".
