Rajan P Dev died by Diabetes

Legend of Kollywood, Rajan P Dev died in Kochi on Wednesday July 29, 2009 at 6.30am at Lakeshore hospital after vomiting blood. He was under treatment for liver disease for a long time. His funeral ceremony will be held on Thursday at 11 am.

Rajan P Dev acted on more than 142 films including in Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada and Telugu languages. 

Rajan P Dev played many unforgettable roles in movies like Aniyan Bava Chettan Bava, Thommanum Makkalum, Commissioner, Achamakuttiyude Achayan, Chanthupottu, Chocolate and many more in Malayalam.

Rajan Dev also acted in many Tamil films like Suryan, Gentleman, Periya Idathu Maappillai, Love Today, Kushi and the recently released Karthik Anitha.

He had directed two movies, Achamakuttiyude Achayan (1998) and Achante Kochumolku (2003). 

Rajan Dev is survived by his wife Santha, daughter Ashamma and son Jibile Raj. He was diabetic patient and recently he refused many film offers and went to his native village Angamali Kaladi for taking rest.
