I didn't vote for Obama and he is not my president. I don't have to like him, all I have to do is respect the office of the president.

I grew up in a very well off neighborhood. I unfortunately was not a part of the so called "rich" crowd and I did get made fun of. There were black people who were very well off and they would also make fun of me, but when i fired back with "at least I dress like I have respect for myself" they called me ( a young white women) a racist. So why do they have the right to make fun of white people, but I can not fire back? I did not even mention anyhting about the color of their skin. If most people are given the illusion of choice to improve their situation then they will jump at the chance. Good luck to Obama if he really can manage to change our sense of equality and lifestyle for the better but not at the cost of others, but the reality is that it's the people behind the curtain that run the show and we are played against each other for the benefit of the few, the sooner we all start to work together and become a community the better.
