Press conference makes Fulmer's exit official
University of Tennessee head coach Phillip Fulmer announced Monday afternoon that he will retire at the end of the season.
Fulmer will guide the remaining three games against Wyoming, Kentucky and Vanderbilt, and a bowl game should UT earn an invitation. He has also been offered the opportunity to live on in some capacity at UT, but says he is a politician and could pursue other options when the season is over.
