Obama's reports by both small incremental amounts giving donors online and major donors who were wined and dined and given the chance to mingle with him more than appeared to validate his gamble.Though Obama's campaign was less dependent on big donors who contributed more than $ 1000 to his recent presidential campaign that candidates selected, provided they still nearly half the funding for his campaign.Big 47 per cent contribution of donor funds for the campaign against Obama 60 percent for George Bush in 2004 and 56 percent for John Kerry that year.
