U. S. House of Representatives’ minority leader, 70-year-old Nancy Pelosi was reportedly hospitalized in Rome after feeling sick on the early morning of Monday. But after few tests in hospital, she resumed her planned schedule in afternoon. Image source: kaystreet.wordpress.com Nancy Pelosi was in Rome with a congressional delegation to take part in the Italian nation’s 150th anniversary celebrations and as part of the anniversary she had also programmed meeting with the nation’s defense minister Ignazio La Russa, and head of the lower house of parliament, Gianfranco Fini. But after feeling ill, she was forced to cancel her meeting. She was admitted Rome's Policlinico Umberto I Hospital. Minor ailment was found in her after some tests, as per Italian news. Pelosi’s DC office and the U.S. Embassy have not reacted about ailment or hospitalization condition of Pelosi. A spokesman Nadeam Elshami has stated that following the trip in Afghanistan and a long journey back to Italy that was arrived early morning of Monday; Leader Pelosi was not feeling well. Nadeam also explained that on Monday morning in Rome, the leader was advised for the check up in the clinic and the closest medical facility was a hospital. After few tests, she came back at Rome hotel and she has continued her hold schedule.
