
New Delhi: Union Home Secretary GK Pillai Thursday gave 45-minute session ZTE senior official in India's wholly-owned subsidiary of the Chinese telecom equipment manufacturer ZTE Corporation, on his entrance into the Indian market.
D.K. Ghosh, ZTE India Chairman and Managing Director Pillai met, the underlying security problems in Chinese imports of telecommunications equipment in India.
He said he was happy, Ghosh said the meeting took place in a positive environment.
But the issue Wednesday over Chinese imports of telecommunications equipment in India, Ghosh said to contain: "We have no official communication, but we have learned that some operators of telecommunications companies such as ZTE, which has not complied with the safety tests. "
"We offer our full cooperation with the Indian government. We understand and respect their concerns about security and we will safety standards, policies and requirements of the government," he said.
ZTE India has a production Manesar, Haryana, better repair, maintenance and logistics. It brings the communication equipment and mobile phones in China.
