Egyptian president Mubarak won't step down despite pressure

Egypt faces its biggest day of rage after President Hosni Mubarak defied the will of his people and refused to resign from office.

As President Obama signaled his impatience with Mubarak's stubbornness, protesters gathered in Cairo's Tahrir Square by the hundreds of thousands, vowing to march on the presidential palace.

Defying pleas from Egypt's vice president to "Go home," they were set to stage their biggest demonstration yet in Egypt's three-week revolt.

"We will not stop fighting until Mubarak is gone," one protester yelled.
