Bruce Springsteen in Obama's Inauguration 2009

Bruce Springsteen can do well for their connections to the Obama campaign with a show in celebration of its 44th Presidential inauguration.

Bruce Springsteen performs in Washington's National Mall, January 18, as part of Barack Obama's inauguration week welcome event. The event which will be held on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial - will be open to the public free

Springsteen was a vocal Obama supporter, playing benefit show in New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Michigan, as well as appear in a meeting with president-elect in Cleveland.

Springsteen's new album, "Working on a Dream," is due Jan. 27 from Columbia. With the E Street Band, he will perform at the Super Bowl XLIII halftime show on Feb.1 in Tampa.
