Former Warrant singer Jani Lane has been found dead at the Comfort Inn hotel in Woodland Hills, California. He was just 47. No further details on the cause of his death have been released. In the past, Lane suffered publicly with alcohol addiction and pleaded no contest to DUI in 2010. Lane famously penned the band's biggest hit "Cherry Pie" back in 1989 ... before eventually leaving the band to pursue a solo career. In February, Lane canceled all of his previously announced solo tour dates two days before the first show was due to take place. No explanation was offered for the cancellation. |
