J & K Daily Newspaper Daily Excelsior.Mexican beverage company FEMSA plans to buy Coca-Cola bottling plants in Canada, the Mexican daily Excelsior reported on Monday, but analysts are not sure about its next international expansion move.

FEMSA -- owner of Coca-Cola FEMSA (KOFL.MX) (KOF.N), the world's second-biggest bottler of Coca-Cola Co (KO.N) beverages -- is selling its beer unit for a 20 percent stake in Dutch brewer Heineken NV (HEIN.AS) in a $5.7 billion, all-share deal due to close in the second quarter of 2010.
