Yahoo and Nokia Announce Alliance For Email, IM, Maps, And Navigation Services

Today Nokia announced and Yahoo a new alliance that the two companies will collaborate on e-mail, IM, maps and navigation services for PCs and cell phones.

Nokia will now be the exclusive provider of Yahoo's maps and navigation services and will integrate Yahoo Maps Ovi services. The products will be marked with "Driven by Ovi." Yahoo will also power the Nokia Ovi Ovi Mail and IM services and these services will be labeled "Powered by Yahoo."
