The world’s skinniest house named Keret House is set to be constructed in the gap between two buildings in the center of Warsaw, Poland. The Keret House is designed by the Jakub Szczesny of the architecture/design firm Centrala and will be the narrowest home at its most generous and the proposed place, in Warsaw. At its widest point, this skinniest house will measure only four feet and at its thinnest, it will be just 28.3 inches - thinner than the normal doorway, making it the skinniest dwelling in the world. The triangular Keret House is designed to be sandwiched between two buildings and it will serve as a dwelling and studio for Israeli writer, Etgar Keret. This home contains a three-dimensional steel frame, and its key features include a retractable stairway to allow guests in & all-white concrete cloth exterior. Along with the concrete cloth exterior, this house is roofed with plywood and insulation panels. Though the home is planned in a less space, the shape of it will work well to support the size of the foundation in the corner. |
