Woody Allen sue American Apparel Ad LawsuitWoody Allen of 72 a filmmaker is suing American Apparel Ad Lawsuit for using his image in its ad campaign without his permission two year ago. Actor and director Woody Allen filed against Lawsuit and is looking for $ 10 million in compensation. But he accepted a $ 5 million as settlement from the clothing manufacturer on Monday in trial at Manhattan's Federal District Court. The lawsuit states that Allen does not engage in the commercial support of products or services in the United States. The lawsuit took this image from “Annie Hall” in which Allen dressed as a rabbi. Also uses words like "sleazy" and "infantile" so that they hurt his reputation. Allen says he wasn't asked if an image could be used and he wasn't remunerated for the billboard and Internet ads that show him dressed as a rabbi. For more information click here.
